There is no order to this book.

Though there is no order or sequence,

there is order in the chaos, waiting to be found.

Through exploration of these moments of

introspection and through pausing for a break.

Many of the images were made in a process

similar to that above. Taking a moment to stop

and observe, in both new and familar places.

Seeing as they were taken from a personal catalog

and archive of images taken over the course of

two years, my aim is to recontexualize them and

place them together into this mini project that

would change the way I look at them and

read them. I was interested in finding some

aspect within them that was similar. As I look

back to this images I haven’t spent time with

for a while, I found myself mesmorized by

the feeling I had gotten: a hopeful sense of order.

Always searching for these signs of order within the

chaos of it all, I was eager to find it so close

to something that was so close, in reach.

It is rewarding to see this moments as a sign

in the midst of what feels like all hell breaking loose.

As you flip through the book please do take it apart,

seperate the pages from one another, shuffling, and

resquencing them.

Make something that brings you a sense of order.
